Sustainable Barn for the Baetsen Family in Kelpen-Oler
For the Baetsen family in Kelpen-Oler, we have realized an innovative and sustainable barn solution that perfectly meets their business needs and the modern requirements of livestock farming. The new barn measures 33 x 95 meters and not only provides ample space for the animals, but also includes an integrated covered outdoor area, promoting animal welfare regardless of the weather.
Energy Efficiency through Advanced Insulation
One of the key features of this project is the use of an aluminum ceiling with glass wool, which ensures an impressively high RC value. This innovative insulation system keeps the barn efficiently regulated in terms of temperature and significantly reduces energy costs. For the Baetsen family, it represents a sustainable solution that is both economically and ecologically responsible.
Optimal Air Quality through Advanced Ventilation
The barn is equipped with a state-of-the-art heat exchanger and foil ducts that provide optimal air circulation and enable the reuse of heat. This system not only contributes to energy-efficient operation but also ensures a healthy indoor climate for the animals. The innovative rotating dust filtration system with automatic dust collection keeps the heat exchanger clean and guarantees that the air remains consistently pure and healthy. In doing so, the system helps maintain hygiene and air quality in the barn—both essential for the well-being of the animals.
