What does an Airhouse Heat Exchanger deliver?
With a heat exchanger from Beekamp B.V., incoming fresh air is not mixed with outgoing barn air. This prevents temperature fluctuations and reduces the risk of disease in your barn.
With minimal energy consumption, not only are heating costs in your poultry house reduced, but you also benefit from lower CO2 emissions and a significant reduction in fine dust emissions. In addition, a perfect and stable climate in your poultry house leads to better manure quality and lower ammonia emissions.
In short: lower energy use, more efficient farming, and a better end product!
Why use a heat exchanger (RAV regulations)?
The Dutch Regulation on Ammonia and Livestock Farming (RAV) is based on the Ammonia and Livestock Act (Wav). This ministerial regulation defines ammonia emission factors for housing systems, which are necessary to calculate the ammonia emissions of a livestock farm. For example, when assessing whether a farm meets the requirements of the Activities Decree, the Wav, and the Housing Decree.
