This is our second project in Frieschepalen, where we completely renovated an old, vacant broiler house.
The asbestos-containing roof was removed and replaced with new corrugated roofing sheets. The old ceiling was also completely replaced with aluminium corrugated sheets, with a 20 cm layer of glass wool insulation installed on top.
In addition, the existing floor was completely removed and replaced with a new concrete floor. Along the old brick walls, we poured a new concrete strip. On top of this, 80 mm thick sandwich panels were installed, providing the walls with a clean finish as well as additional insulation.
